Since yesterday evening, Abdel Sanhaji (operator of Tarcaban) began a hunger and thirst strike to protest against the ruling that struck his club and other 4 of the way Pratello. His demands were the withdrawal of the measure and the immediate convocation of a board of mediation on the issue.
In addition, each day from 10 to 19 stazionerà under the common Piazza Maggiore, waiting for someone to consider its demands. Then in the evening return to work in his room (up to 22 only, of course ..) for him because his work is his dignity.
We can not but be sympathetic to Abdel, even if we think the operators of the premises affected by the ordinances should organize something together with other operators but also with the many citizens of the neighborhood who support their cause. In fact, we believe that act alone could diminish the scale of the issue, reducing it to a problem (mainly economic) which refers only to those affected by the order, whereas here we are talking about a serious lack of democracy by the Mayor and a real risk for the whole neighborhood to turn into a context where the majority of citizens do not want to live.
